This October I had the opportunity to co- deliver an introduction to trauma workshop with David Benjamin funded by Catalyst Stockton at their Wellbeing Hub.

 The session focussed on trauma- primary and secondary, how it presents, how to begin to have conversations with the people we are working with and finally, how we work with trauma. For me personally, the learning happens in practice so throughout we made a conscious effort to link  theory to practice, giving anonymised examples of how it presents with the people we work with. As the attendees were from a range of organisations it was great to hear their experiences and to have conversations about how the new learning could be applied with their clients.
